I believe that the Pell Grant is free. It's a government paid scholarship.

Tons. Actually, all scholarships should be free. You really should not have to pay for a scholarship since a scholarship is really paying you.

Scholarships - The MOST sought after aid there is. You don't have to pay it back and eligibility is not need based on some scholarships. They are also usually the hardest to get. There are several scholarship database sites that list tons.

Here is a BIG tip for you...if you have to pay anything for a scholarship, it is not a legitimate scholarship, and you should stay as far away from them as you can.  There are tons of scholarships available out there if you just search for them, and not all of them require a high GPA in order to qualify for them. Some are faith based, ethnicity based, need based, etc.

FYI. any scholarship that requires you to pay is a fraud. Check with a college counselor if you don't believe me, but they are definitely scams
