Avast! antivirus and AVG Antivirus for antivirus.

Spybot: Search and Destroy, Lavasoft Adaware, SUPERAntiSpyware, CounterSpy, and Spyware Nuker XT for antispyware.

I would recommend take one of the antivirus and two of the antispywares.

Theres several. I would try Panda first. You can download a free trial and use it to wipe your computer clean. Then u can switch to a free alternative, such as avast or avg. I use Windows Live Onecare and its worked great for me. Also try the free trial of Norton 360. (they have greatly improved the use of system resources)

I like Spybot Search & Destroy the best for spyware. It is free, but I encourage you to donate a little bit on PayPal as they really do a great job and keep the software and definitions up to date.
