  1. http://userdb.rootsweb.ancestry.com/nati...

  2. You wouldn't look any place different for the kind of records you are talking about than any other person.  Birth and Death records are kept by the state.  The only exception would be if the birth or death was not recorded, but that seldom happens now days.

http://www.familysearch.org has a good database of records, but what may be easier is to go to the website and see if there  are any LDS Family History Centers near you.  They are free and the volunteers there will be glad to help you get started.  They won't do the work for you, but they will put you on the right path....And you can log onto ancestry.com there for free too, ancestry.com has the most extensive records of any of the online databases.  Take what ever information you have with you, you will need a starting point.

You can go to http://www.vitalrec.com to see where you can send for the record, but it will cost you.  If you are looking to prove Native ancestry you will need to certified record from the state, but try the history center first

  3. You need a starting point ( usually a date), then go online to the local newspaper for that area and look up births and deaths.

  4. NO
