Is there any funded pre-schools in ireland???????

I currently live in the uk and as you are probably aware your child is entitled to 12.5 hours a week government funded placements in a nursery/pre-school from the april following their 3rd birthday, is this the case in southern ireland??????????? please help!!!

I don't have any kids, so I have no idea at all about funding or anything like that, but I found some links below again (remember me?!) that should be useful. The last one is a Citizens Information site, so it should provide a good deal of information. Good luck with your search!
