there is in Calpe which is a close drive from Alicante, its near the beach and very nice.

Where abouts in alicante are you going? Are you going to Alicante town or the province of Alicante as this covers a wide area, If you are sount of Alicante airport I will have more of an idea.

Personally I'd go to Benidorm, it's got alot more going on and it's more of a tourist place, Alicante is more of a city than a holiday destination.

i havent been to alicante but there are indian restaurants everywhere,as for cheap it will be like the rest of spain not.
