Question:

Is there any good acting schools in connecticut.?

im 13 yrs old almost 14. i can cry on cue and i rehearse monologues all the time and i think im really good. ive been wanting to persue my acting for about 2 yrs but i dont have money to waste. im very serious about this and i hope someone can help me.

  1. It costs money to make money.  If it's really that important to you, then you'll invest money into it.  Crying on cue and rehearsing monologues all the time doesn't make you good.  And seriousness without action is useless.  I'd also suggest working on grammar seeing as acting is all about language and communication....not crying on cue.


  2. I'm not sure where in CT you are, but there is a wonderful performing arts school in Trumbull, CT called the Regional Center for the Arts (RCA). Their web site:

    This is a part-time school that you would attend after your regular school day.  My daughter's best friend has been going there for 3 years and we've attended many of the plays.  They have buses that pick you up and drop you off, but only within Fairfield County (the buses actually do service more towns than those listed at the website).
