  1. have u got a park near you?or a beach?or a woods?if you have a garden get a football/ball and kick it around or throw it around as this is great for there co-ordination, make a den and plat cowboys or something along that lines (my kids love that and we just get an old blanket and throw it over the old baby gym) kids this age love role play type games, set up a mini obstacle course.or go to a local tumble tots (dont know where abouts u r) whatever you do let your children learn and dont be worried about them grazing knees or banging heads they will have fun and love it if they see you are

    Good Luck

  2. How about kicking a football around? or swing ball? my grandad (RIP) used to get me and my brother to do exercising where we would do a mini aerobic work out, I always remember it was so much fun and we would always collapse in a heap of giggles at the end plus we got some exercise!

You can get play tunnels quite cheap which are good for toddlers to crawl through, going to the park and climbing the climbing frame and slide are good for gross motor skills.

  3. My son is 24 months and loves climbing, slides, kicking balls. Parks are great at this age. Pop some music on and dance, they love music! Hide and seek is fun, chasy, building sandcastles. Lots of outdoors play!

    Good Luck!

  4. Well mom you are now in the world of a new explorer, everything they see and touch is brand new and every corner of the house and yard needs to be explored.

Playtime needs to be educational and fun.  From the old Nana tool box, with constant supervision.

    1. Blocks - colorful old fashion blocks to stack.

    2. Stack - rings

    3. And don't get upset,  large sheets of paper and finger paint (non Toxic)

    4. Reading time, you read they explore the pages with their fingers. Fun old fashion Disney children's books.

    5. A big Round colorful ball, they will pick up and throw and really start trying to kick.

    6. Turn the music on and sing along, your little one will be bouncing and trying his or her best to sing with you.

    7. One of my favorites, to set with the little one with a "non Toxic" stuffed animal, and teach the little one to talk to the animal and how to hold it and pet it.

    8. Set down with your little one and start teaching parts of the body, head, hair, eyes, mouth, hands and feet.

    9. large pieced puzzles are great, you will be surprised how fast they start picking up how to put them together. And throwing the pieces around.

Momma's participation and giving attention to the little one is truly what your looking for.  At 22 months, the wheels are turning and your little one is learning so rapidly.

By the time my oldest Granddaughter was 3, she was on the computer playing her games.
