  1. There are enough good places to visit in London to keep you busy for years.

You name it... palaces, cathedrals, parks, the River Thames, museums, monuments, art galleries, markets, theatres, clubs and concert halls...

Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, the Neasden Mandir (Europe's biggest Hindu temple)

Buckingham Palace and the Queen's Gallery next door, the Houses of Parliament with Big Ben

The river Thames runs through the heart of London and offers amazing views (take a boat trip). Tower Bridge is its most famous crossing, right beside the Tower of London (which is nearly 1,000 years old). London's newest icon is the London Eye, the huge ferris wheel on the south bank right beside the Thames.

And for a big city, there's a lot of green space: the great royal parks for starters; the botanic gardens at Kew (World Heritage Site); Richmond Park, the estates of Syon House and Hampton Court, plus the great views down over the city from Parliament Hill Fields on Hampstead Heath... take a picnic, or check to see if a band will be playing, go fly a kite, or just watch the world go by.

Well, that's just a taster... have a look at the London Tourist Board's website http://visitlondon.com for lots more info.

Hope you get to see it all for yourself some time soon.

Love from a Londoner born and bred.

    =D

  6. London is a really nice place to go. Most of it's tourist attractions are located in central London though. But I think the most interesting tourist attraction is the Big Ben. But there's alot more fun and interesting stuff in London other than tourist attractions. There are year-round festivals, The National Art Gallery (if your interested in art), and London's has one of the most famous music seens in the worl. So there's quite alot of interesting stuff you can check in London. Hope this helped. :)
