Is there any good route to get to Oslo by car from Denmark?

I am going to go to Northern Eurupe this summer by car and I think I'd be better go by car as I have small 3 children.

I was wondering if you could give me a brilliant idea about this,please?

You have two choices to go from Denmark to Oslo. Either drive, from Koldern it would be 823 kilometers, round 9 hours, all the way through Sweden.

Or you take a longer trip, but drive just 273 kilometers to Frederikshavn from Koldern, and take the Ferry to Oslo, starting at 10:00 hrs and arriving there relaxed at 18:30 hrs.

Ferry costs (one way) 124 € for two adults, three children and a middle-class car.
