  1. This year they held a world event up North Somewhere (Wick or Thurso I think) and I think some of the Western Isles (Islay maybe) have held some pretty big surfing competitions in the past

  2. The Isle of Tiree off the west coast of Scotland is very popular.

  3. Check out the link below.  It gives TONS of spots along with  descriptions, directions, and pictures.

  4. all i can say is good luck

  5. Yes some of the biggest surf in the U.K. is to be found in Scotland. The most well known spot is Thurso East.

The onlt problem is that it is very cold and can be quite dangerous so it may not be for the inexperienced. Take a look at this web site - www.wannasurf.com/spot/Europe/UK/index.h...

This will give you info not only on Scotland but all around the U.K.

  6. Pls ask Scotish people.

  7. lunan bay  , just south of montrose can be good if you catch mid tide and a good wind , i used to live near there and cought a few waves myself but i aint as good as some of the other locals there who seem to always catch the best waves , but it ´s long sandy beech streaches for 5 lonnnnnng miles great for kite boardin
