Is there any great musicians or players started their playing very late then made their ways?

I mean after 20 or something.If there's no such great musicians ,do u know any guys like this in ur real life?

I know passion is one thing but I just wanna know how big u can make it if u start play really late.

well the best example i can give to you is...

The Arctic Monkeys

if your American then i don't know if you will know them because i don't know how big there are there but if your British i'm sure you have heard of them, one of the very top bands around at the moment being described as musical genious

Now this band is made up of two 22 year old's and two 23 year olds. They formed in 2002 and are first came to fame in 2005 when they started to really get noticed and go on there way to fame.

so why does this relate to you, you my ask simply..

when this band formed they only had around6 months of playing experience and the durmmer had never played before but with a bit of hard work in 3 shorts years they had a record label and were everywhere

so they might not have been over 20 but they still became huge in a very small period of time, an example to us all budding musicians =p

Jack Johnson didn't think about getting a music career until he was in college. He wasn't serious about it and just liked playing guitar and writing songs that people would never hear until something happened.

Colbie Caillat picked up the guitar at 19 (and if you know anything about her, she's now 22 and has an album out).
