is iit curable? my cousin is afraid of g*y guys [not lesbians though] . he's afraid of them or something because he thinks that they might take some "unwanted advances" upon him. i persuaded him otherwise

straight guys shouldn't flatter themselves like that. i have standards and most straight guys fall way short of them.

Either your cousin is in the closet and is scared to have a homo pull out his natural feeling OR your cousin has had some poor mentors in his life (either parental or peer) and just needs to met or be around regular acting g**s who can show him otherwise...

"curable"- absolutely- help him see that being g*y or hanging with g**s is a normal thing in life

I do know some males who are homophobic.  They can become un-homophobic;  However, it is their choice whether or not to be a homophob.  You can try to persuade but rarely does that work.  The best way I have found is to educate them and expose them slowly to g**s and lesbians without them knowing.  Eventually they may choose to no longer be a homophob.

The only way to change someone is experience. Most homophobes do not know anyone that is g*y. The more they are around g*y people the more they will change.

I'm not but I use to be when I was in middle school. The reason was because I thought that being around g*y people would turn me g*y too and I liked girls too much for that.

So I think your cousin may be afraid of turning g*y. I think he will get over it when he realizes how people are g*y.

People like that are a bit too full of themselves. Just because some men like other men, doesn't mean they want THAT man. Haha

Same with straight people.. not everyone is attracted to every person of the opposite s*x. If they spent more time around g*y men, they'd probably change their mind. Especially if they have things in common.
