  1. There is no harm chopping trees down, has long as people plant new ones in their place.and it is not illegal.

  2. well it depends is the tree a danger close to power lines, diseased, dieing, dead, are the roots damaging a house foundation getting into the weeping tiles damaging the sewer lines, are the branches brushing up against the house and damaging the siding or on the roof and damaging the shingles then yes you could chop it down .

but if you only want to chop it down for the sake of chopping it down then that is wrong.

  3. is there any reason to chop it down? what harm is a tree doing? yes it does do harm to chop it down. . where will the birds live? what about the shade it brings from the sun? how about the insects that live on it? one day there will be no more trees. you will have ugly buildings. you will have no greenery, no birds. im sure there are  more reasons to keep trees. they are harmless . lets not chop them down.

  4. You may need permission off the council to chop it down. I would check it out first.

  5. If the tree is in your way chop it down !

plant mini trees in pots to compensate.

  6. There is if it falls on you.

  7. Only if you don't plant anymore to replace them. As long as they keep growing, it's fine.

  8. You need council permission even if it is on your land.

  9. Depends why you are cutting it down, the condition, size, health of the tree (if dead it doesn't help) in question. What you intended to do with it once its down. Waaay to open ended a question.

  10. it depends if you care about our evironment because the more trees you cut down the less oxygen so if you like air I wouldn`t cut down trees

  11. In a way, yes.   Trees help remove CO2 and generate oxygen.  They also beautify the landscape, etc.

  12. The tree won't like it.

    Might be against the law.

Might fall on you or someone/thing.

    Will alter local ecology.

Will interfere with bird's nests and food chain.
