  1. These herbs are all good for putting you to sleep:

    Passionflower

    Valerian

    Hops

    Catnip

    Lemon Balm

    You can buy them in capsule form (individually or in combinations) at most health stores.

    If you mean you want a remedy to stop you sleeping so deeply, I'm afraid I don't know of any.


  2. THIS is a classic . . .

    Warm milk and a cookie!

    [o.k .. you could have something else, like toast or something instead of a cookie  :o)  ]

    Having something in your stomach helps you sleep better then if there is nothing in there.

    If you exercise quite vigorously during the day and then have a nice warm shower before your milk and cookies, it should put you into a deeper sleep.

    You can get 'herbs' to help induce a deeper sleep, the strongest being 'Valerian', which you may be able to get from your local supermarket vitamin stand with a label saying something like "Easy Sleep".  A pharmacy will most likely have it too and it would have have a similar name or be under it's herbal name - Valerian.

    There are a few other herbs that may be mixed with the Valerian to help your sleep deepen in an "Easy Sleep", "Good Night" or "Tranquil Sleep" mixture.  

    Herbs like: Passion Flower, Skull Cap, Hops [like what they use to make beer] , Wild Oat and a couple of others.

    [If you suffer from sadness or depression, then don't use  Valerian at all, as it can unfortunately, make sad people even MORE sad.   If / when you do use Valerian, do not use it continuously -  make sure you take breaks between use, for example: take the weekends off or alternate weeks]

  8. Isn't the question asking for a "remedy" for deep sleep? Isn't deep sleep a sleeping disorder? He wants to wake up not sleep!
