Is there any hotels in Cancun that only allow year 21+ old guests?

i heard that from a friend. i wonder if it's true, and why is it so?

Yes it is true, there are very few but they do exist. Why?? Because Cancun has been invaded by springbreakers since several years ago and there are still some ppl who want to spend a peaceful vacation without having to deal with noisy nasty teenagers destroying everything around them during their endless parties. So there have been some places who have banned those unwanted guests and that's why they are adult-only -- and also for those of us who don't like small kids running and yelling all over the place. This isn't only in Cancun though, I also know of several resorts in Florida USA which have implemented the same rule (or, if allowed, kids under 21 must be accompanied by a responsible adult).
