I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 if that helps anybody. I've used FM transmitters and most of them suck and they're too expensive. And I want to avoid having to purchase an aftermarket CD player just to play my iPod. I don't even used my CD's anymore... Anything helps guys and gals! Thanks!

  1. Metra makes a wired FM transmitter that has CD quality.  I have one installed in my 04 Silverado.  Bought it at Best Buy in the service bay.  Easy install.

  2. uhm..

check if your stock stere has an audio input in the back if so,

then you can buy the cable at walmart for like 5 bucks.. its a red and white and on the other end the aux cable...
