Q:

Nowadays a large amount of advertising is aimed at children; some people think there are lots of negative effects on children and should be banned. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?

para 3

However, a large amount of advertisements are in lack of correct information but promoting harmful products including ridiculous toys and violent electrical games. Children who are immature in spending money will easily get lost in meaningless toys or violent games, which waste their precious time and money. Moreover, the unhealthy scenes and dialogues in the games may cause nervousness and unease and influence characteristics development.

  1. Nope, I see none. However, I'm not sure when you said 'characteristics' if you meant to say 'characteristic.' Other than that I see no grammar or improper spelling.

  2. some people think there are lots of negative effects on children and should be banned.

The phrase "should be banned" is a dangling participle.  What should be banned?  Advertising?  Negative effects?  Children?

    Change to,

"and such advertising should be banned."

The posting above correctly identified many other errors;  I won't repeat them.

One thing missed:  The misuse of the word "amount" instead of "number."  The word "amount" should never be used for something you can count.  "Large amount of work" is acceptable, because you can't count work.  "Large amount of advertisements" is incorrect.  "Large number of advertisements" is correct.

"Large amount of advertising" is acceptable, however, since "advertising" in this context is a verb.

Another problem is the use of "but" instead of "and."

Use "...advertisements lack correct information and promote harmful products," instead of "...but promote..."

(The verb tense "promote" was corrected by the previous poster.)

The word "but" suggests a contrary condition.  The latter phrase (promote harmful products) is not contrary to (lack correct information) but in addition.  Remember that the first phrase isn't about having correct information, but lacking it.

A correct sentences with "but" would be, "The advertisements appear to have correct information, but they do not."  Here, a contrary condition exists.
