Is there any inside trick on raising your chances of winning the Publisher Clearing House?

I've been entering the PCH for about two years now on-line and read that you can enter via snail-mail too. I remember back in the day that if you sent in larger envelopes you raised your chances of winning mail-in offers. I'm thinking that the law of probability says that if I enter enough times and long enough that I will eventually win, but what I want to know is is there a way to better the odds in my favor. Would it be better to go snail-mail or keep entering on-line?

  1. Sorry, but the law of probability doesn't say that you will eventually win.  If a million people play, your odds are 1 in a million.  The next time you play, it will still be 1 in a million.  By law, contests cannot give preference over any form of entry, as long as they say it's okay.  So no, postal mail doesn't give you a better chance then regular mail.  Read the fine print sometime, it will explain a lot of this.
