  1. If you are taking kids, consider:

    1. Visiting the Kranji Countryside farms. Take the train to Kranji MRT and there's a Kranji Express shuttle that take you to the doorsteps of the farms and the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Kids I took there enjoyed Hays Dairy Goat Farm. They milk the goats in the morning before 10.30am.

    2. The fountain terrace at Vivo City Shopping Centre. Spouts and water jets.

If you want to see the real face of Singapore, visit the unpretentious Sungei Road Flea Market.

If you like a bit of nature, take a bumboat to Pulau Ubin, rent a bike and explore what remains of Singapore's village life. Visit Chek Jawa - mangroves, inter-tidal sea flats, coastal flora, fauna.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Either tour their incredible Zoo ... or go on the Night Safari, or both. I hope your visit to Clark Quay included a boat tour on the Singapore River. And you definitely shouldn't miss visiting Raffles Hotel, either for high tea or Singapore slings in the Long Bar.
