  1. You might not get employed anywhere at the age of 11.  Maybe try working at home doing things like washing cars on your street.. Helping mom with washing dishes.  Maybe your parents will give u money for all sorts of jobs around the house...

  2. Wow, that's a tough one there crazy apple head.

You could help the elderly with yard work or cleaning and organizing their garages, grocery shopping. I would print up some flyers and pass them out in your neighborhood. You may try and see if it's possible that your Mom or Dad would allow you to paint the garage for practice, be sure and cover the floor for protection. I would use a roller to and a brush to cut corners and the ceiling in. That would be something you could add later. I know my son made alot of money mowing people yards. He did their yards once a week and as people watched him he got more clients. They may own electic hedge clippers and you could trim their hedges. Some people want a garden tilled, they should rent the tiller and hire you to do the job. They can rent a tiller at Home Depot for 4 hours for about 35.00. it is very imporant that if they rent this you have to be on time and do the job quick so that they don't get angry with you and not pay you.

Another good one is window washing, people hate to wash windows and will pay you for it. That's outside and inside. At your age though I would just start with outside, don't want to damage anyones property.

Go to google and type in ........Window washing Rates, (your town), it will tell you what to charge. Like if you lived in Dallas, Texas, you would type in Window washing Rates Dallas, Texas.

You can do the same thing with other types of jobs so that you know what to charge.

I'll come back later if I have any more ideas.

Are you experienced at helping your Dad install things? If so, you could always install ventilated shelving in peoples closet and pantrys and garages, people pay big bucks for shelving. These below will give you a general idea. But what I was really getting at is ventilated shelving.

If you go to google and type in

It will give you the general idea, this is the shelving that most people use and they sell it at Home Depot or Lowes. You can also get the industrial shelving for garages there. Some industrial shelving is free standing, does not attach to the wall. People will pay you to put things like this together, read instructions first. Here's a sneaky idea, hang out in the shelving area at Home Depot and give people your phone number so that you can help them put this shelving together. Be careful though and always make sure that your parents know who you are with, even if you just write it down and stick it to the refrigerator. If someone creeps you out, steer clear, don't want any sicko's getting ahold of a hard working guy like you. Don't let people take advantage of you.

When installing closet shelving the charge for labor is usually 3 X materials. Add up the cost of all of the material and multiply that by 3 to get your labor rate.

Many installers cost $50.00 an hour to install ventilated shelving or $2.00 a linear foot

These are the fasteners I use, see the picture, you can buy them at Home Depot. Or you can buy them at a Nut and s***w, fastener store in Dallas, by bulk, much cheaper that way. I like the zinc ones, not the plastic ones. This is for drywall and they hold about 50lbs each, very important for mounting any kind of shelving

One more good one is installing handicap bars for the elderly. You can look it up on line to determine the right height or ask the home owner exactly where they would like it installed.

Another good one is helping other people, like men who buy Pergo flooring and just need a helper to hold the measuring tape or to tap the flooring into place. Hang out in Flooring and see who buys this type of flooring and ask them if they need help installing it. You will learn alot and get paid while learning
