  1. free depending on where you live and what  grade  CAVA looki it up.

  2. Can't get much cheaper than free.  MIT (can't get a better University) offers nearly all of their courses for free.  However, you cannot get a degree from them, if that's your goal...

  3. Library books on your chosen topic/interest.

Books, the portable alternative to PC's.

  4. My US universities offer online courses you can take without ever having to go to the classroom!  Some are cheap, some are expensive, however you have to remember that you're going to get what you pay for 9 times out of 10.

    Good luck!

  5. If you live in the UK, then try The Open University

    www.open.ac.uk

They offer a wide variety of courses and qualifications up to higher degree level.

Your fees will be paid for you in full if you comply with certain financial circumstances.  Even if you or anyone in your household are working full-time, some help may still be available depending on your household income.

You do not have to work for a qualification, but if you would like to, you can start with a Cert. level and proceed from there.

You are probably a bit late for many of the courses as most start in Jan/Feb.  However, there are several that start in Sep/Oct and there are short courses that begin several times during the year.

    Best of luck!

  6. Try Ashworth University. They are Accredited and they aren't too expensive. You can sign up for monthly payments and there are a lot of course you can take. You also can work as fast or as slow as you want. Hope this helps.

  7. Hi there,

What about first aid with St John Ambulance. It's free and you can continue to learn to just under ambulance technician level i.e. first aid, care, manual handling, casualty handling, defibrilation, medical gases, ambulance working certificates.

Whats more, you get to put your skills into action anywhere. I worked with my Brigade at Wimbledon tennis tournaments (yes that one!!), West Ham Untied home games (Premiership), London West End Musicals, Buckingham Palace in the summer when it is open to visitors. You name it you can do it. Moreover, you get to make new friends and a whole new career opens to you (Care, hospital work, first aid, ambulance work).

I only did it to get over the deaths of my parents as I was their carer and had massive guilt issues, but my knowledge and skills were used many times.

    I hope this helps

Kindest regards and good luck with the pregnancy

  8. Please give us more information.  Are you trying to obtain a high school diploma or a GED?  If you have already completed high school, what are your areas of interest?  There are many learning programs/degrees that are totally online.
