  1. The answer is yes, but beware, if your dog is not use to eating people food, it may cause loose stools. I have always feed my dog table scraps and she does well. Another beware, your dog may like table food over dog food and you may end up with a fussy dog who begs. My dog loves meat, she prefers raw meat but again beware if your dog is not use to that diet, You may want to go with something like chiken rice soup with veggies to start. That will definately hold her over til you get more food. Good luck

  2. there are plenty of things, human food isn't as necessarily as bad as some people think, you can find a ton of great recipes online and they even make books about human foods you can make for dogs, I did some research and a couple of vets stated that pet owners who made special foods for their dogs not only had the best coats but also lived the longest and were extremely healthy

  3. Yes. A good meal for your dog would be some plain white cooked rice and some chicken and vegetables. Another option would be some plain rice and unseasoned scrambled egg. Make sure that whatever you make her you let it cool before she eats it. A lot of people don't think about that and then their dog burns their mouth.

ADD: here's a website that gives you a few basics about what dogs can eat, and also tells you about human food NOT to feed your dogs. http://www.naturaldogfood.com/

  4. U CAN TRY OATMEAL AND BREAD, WHITE RICE WITH CHICKEN, OR SMASH MEAT WITH POTATOES PIECES AND WHITE RICE!!!^_^

  5. Look up raw food diets for dogs. If done right it's really healthy.

  6. There is a great group here on yahoo.com called rawfeeding

This is another good site with basic info:

Dogs are meat-eaters and thrive on a diet of meat, raw bones, and organs.  It is cheaper and healthier.  No grains are necessary and that is a major ingredient in commercial dog food.

Check it out!  You and your dog will be happier.

  7. Pedigree is better for her than human food even though pedigree isn't the best.  And science diet makes a lamb and rice dog food that isn't bad.  I think they sell it as sensitive stomach or skin or something of that nature.  Just ask for the one with lamb and rice.  And, even a small town should have a feed store or some place that sells premium dog foods.  Normally feed stores carry brands like Nutro (which is really good) or Canidae.  Check around more ...

  8. You can try a diet of chicken and rice, it's a bland diet, but it'll do until you can get the canidae.

  9. Why don't you want to feed your dog any of those brands? Do they upset her stomach? Is she having an allergic reaction?  Does your vet sell dog food? If so try there. Once they get people food dogs will beg for more. I given mine scraps from the table over the years and they've been okay. No bones, no desserts. It does create some bad habits.
