I'm definitely thinking of getting that game, I haven't played a good RPG for a long time now, and I'd like to know what the difference is between the regular game for $30 and the Game of the Year Edition for $60 ( BTW, this is for the PS3)

  1. i think the game of the year one comes with the expansion shivering isles

  2. with Game of the year edition you get the expansion packs with it

    Shivering Isles

    and

    Knights of the Nine

If you just get oblivion thats all you get.

Shivering isles adds another 20 hours of gameplay they say.

  3. THe Standard Edition of Oblivion, for 30$, comes with just one expansion [the knights of nine]. The GOTY edition comes with both KON and The Shivering Isles expansions.

The shivering isles is much longer and better than KON, it adds a whole new world [lol alladdin reference] to the game world.

The expansion costs 30$ so you can buy it from the store or get the standard one and download it.

I downloaded the Shivering isles from my American account for 30$ but I had an EU copy so it doesn't work.

I can gameshare it to you when i get back [1st september] so if you want just get the Standard one and ill saveyou 30$.
