Is there any method to artificially create a cloud?

with the same temperature and pressure as found in the upper atmosphere?

  1. Yes, it is easy to create a cloud.  Most of us do it all the time when we steam up the bathroom after taking a shower during the cold season.

    And yes, it is  possible to produce a cloud with nearly the same  temperature and pressure in a control environment.  However, it will be much more difficult to make a big thundercloud in a controlled environment.  If we can, I think we can get a lot of Good clues to research and study.

    I also think we do understand, for the most part, the steps that a developing storm cell will need to go through to get to the thunderstorm stage.  What we don't know is why some building cumulus clouds will becomes a thunderstorms while others in nearly the same environmental will never produce an electrical discharge through its entire life cycle.  What is the additional trigger needed to produce the first discharge...if this does exists???
