Is there any money into growing leeks?

i have 20 acres in the lower mainland in BC, i wonder what would be the most profible to grow, (not blueberries)

I don't think there's much money in GROWING leeks, but there's sure a lot of

money in SELLING them.(joke)

  I have no idea about your growing season

or your soil's conditions for leeks,BUT

I'm pretty certain that if you could get your

crop into Vancouver markets, they would sell like hotcakes.  Problem is...somehow you have to bypass the middle-man or he

will take most of your profits.
