  1. no

  2. I strongly suggest you check with your local university. They might be able to tell you more. There generally isn't a direct monetary reward, but you might find you'll benefit a great deal nonetheless by having an archaeologist come out and look at what you've got.

I should note that if there are human remains found, certain laws apply, particularly NAGPRA. Remember that we're dealing with the cultural heritage of a people here.

  3. "The surface evidence points to have been used for generations of stone age people?"  Why do you think the federal, state, and/or local government does NOT already know about it?  As an attorney, I can tell you some of my clients thought there was no way the government could know they destroyed historic sites until they were arrested for doing so.

Depending upon the specific facts of the site of which you inquire, you could face misdemeanor, state felony, and/or federal felony charges just for disturbing that site, let alone taking an artifact from there.  Just don't do it.  A few thousand dollars (if you have an exquisite and rare collection - a few hundred bucks otherwise) you earn by illegally selling artifacts will be more than depleted by your legal fees in defending criminal charges for same.

Ask any one of my past clients and they will all tell you the same thing:  it's not worth it, so don't do it.

  4. There is no monetary reward.

    This is wishful thinking.

Do the right thing and notify the authorities.

Your English is not that good. This is obvious because your question is horribly constructed.

Do the right thing before you get into trouble, even if you are an illegal.
