Is there any mosquito repellent other than Deet that really works?

I've heard that Vinegar may work (haven't tried it yet), but want to know if anyone out there has found something that works..

First, DEET is perfectly safe if you use it as directed - it's also incredibly effective.  Most of the home remedies I see on the web are useless.  If you want something without deet that will work almost as well try finding a product containing picaridin.

You can also try " OFF"

It's pretty efective.

try citrenola (or however its spelled)

i use it all the time, however u must buy it, its the smell of it that repells mosquitos and varios other insects
