Is there any mosquitos in mexico?

Yes try not to get yellow fever because there is no cure for it! maybe speak to a travel doctor/nurse.

Oh yes !!!!

They spray with huge cannons and go all thru the neighborhoods and in the city. they came thru mine yesterday at friggin 3 in the morning.

Kinda bothers me seeing men in black clothes , driving around in a pick up with a cannon and some strange FOG coming out. Who really knows what chemical they are spraying and its effects on humans :)

They are ( mosquito's 0 getting worse now so bring some Off repellent and enjoy

I do not know in which part of Mexico you are planning to go on holiday nor under which conditions (hotel, cabin, camping), but be informed that there are locations where there are millions of mosquitoes and a repellent spray and protective net are absolutely necessary. Of course a room in a 5 star hotel is mosquito free and a cabin near a laguna is invaded by them. In general expect mosquitos in the states of Chiapas, Quintana Roo and Yucatan. In Mexico City there are none due to the altitude. Another thing you should watch is that in the 3 states I mentionned some of the mosquitoes spread the (sometimes) deadly hemorraghic disease dengue, so you should protect yourself at all times.

Im from mexico the city and i lived there for 10 years..yes there are mosquitos even in the city usually people have like this tend thing on their beds so mosquitos dont go through if you get me...oh and im going to mexico next next week...lol

I never had a problem in cancun last june never saw one!!!
