Is there any movie of death note?

i don't like the ending of death note on how he caught and die, but not all ending is a happy one. but what if they change the ending and let light change into a normal one ? or maybe forget that he became Kira there are many ways on how the ending will be happy and there is also way on how he could not be caught by near ..well his fool and his pride is the main reason hes been caught like he said 'he got me".

I'm really disappointed when L die the story became non sense and the ending is so duh? well some how it's good it brings a lesson)

n i completely agree that when L died the story became boring but Kira totaly deserved what he got cus he killed L and L is fking awesome. He's the best caracter in the anime

the first 2 movies r basically what happens in the anime in live version up to the part where L dies

the third movie is a sequel which is sumtin i dont want to spoil for u if u havent already seen it cus the 2nd movie ending is a bit diff from the anime

There are 3 live-action DN films in Japan. The first one will be out on DVD in North America in a couple of weeks. There is also talks of them remaking the movies with American actors.
