Is there any music sites (other than limewire) that I can download for free and get songs/movies for my ipod?

My mom gets mad about how slow the computer runs when I open limewire and she is trying to make me uninstall it. I know there has to be at least one more site that's free and doesn't slow down the computer. thanks for the help.

There will be a little animation near the home button in the browser and a drop down in the animation if you are saving a mp3 don't change the file name until the file is done downloading
