Is there any negative side effects from dyeing your lacrosse head?

Ive been wanting to dye my head but I heard that your will be more likely to break or will make it a lot more flimsy or something like that but then im seeing ppl dye there head like twenty times.

My friend dyed his lacrosse head, and in my opinion, it made it a little bit heavier.  Other than that, you should be ok, as long it is done with the corect paint.

Im 16 and i have a died head that i got in 4th grade, and i still use it as a backup. i dont think it really affects the way the head behaves at all. the dye always fades tho, so it wont look as nice as it first does
