Is there any news on the restoration of the Kalakala ferry in Tacoma, Washington?

The last update stated that in 2004 the Kalakala was moved to Tacoma, WA to be painted sometime in 2005 or 2006. The Kalakala website has not be updated in over a year and I don't see any news items regarding the restoration. Does anybody have some inside knowledge of whats happening with this historic vessel?
