Is there any non us investor who still has the guts to invest in the us given its mismanagement of the economy

dollar has lost complete confidence, central bank doesn't care about inflation, government loves to spend, deficit at an all time high, americans completely ignorant; what's there to like, america has become a banana republic.

  1. There are always good buying opportunities in any market.  During the worst of crashes, there are still good stocks and/or sectors to buy which do quite well.  There are simply fewer of them, and they are harder to find.  For example, if the dollar is weak, companies that export their goods to other countries tend to do well, etc.  The nice thing is that the few companies going up in a big downward spike have a lot of people jumping into them, since there are so few good places left to invest.  So they can move up quickly.


  2. Sounds like USA is a great place to short stocks.  

    I don't know if you can call this investment.  But you can make good money this way in a mismanaged economy.
