Is there any one alive in the Western World who doesn't know about Monopoly?

This is a question that has been passed around my friends and myself on many occasions, so we have all, collectively decided maybe it is time to find out the truth.

Is Monopoly so famous that absolutely every one has heard of it?

The western world is not just America.  And to answer the question, brand saturation can only reach so far.  For example, I'd wager that children younger than 2 have not heard of Monopoly.

Believe it or not, not everyone in the Western World knows about Monopoly.   For example, board games are not popular among people in a couple of far northern communities I have lived in, and people there had never heard of Monopoly.  Quite likely there are many other people in similar communities, and possibly in southern communities, who have not heard of it.

well, I don't think an African tribe would have heard of it, but, I do believe that pretty much every nation has heard of it, and probably has their own version of it too

ya some people haven't heard of it untill they are like 7 or 8 because if they don't have older siblings they wouldn't own it until then

Monoply has been around for some time now , but not all people have heard of it .  And there is different virgins of it, I have it on my computer and have two different board games of it  Harley Davidson .
