I am looking into a new job direction, but I do not know if there is a need for it though.

I have training in law enforcement, and emergence medicine (EMS- Ambulance/Fire Rescue).

is there a need for a person with my training and experiences as a LGBT advocit dealing with the police dept. and the hospitals when one of us is a victim of a hate crime, or any other issues that require some one that knows the legal system, and how would I go about gitting a jod like this?

I'm on the other end of Turner Turnpike.  I know Cris Cunningham, the former OCPD advocate before they cut her funding.  Now she's a regular detective, but I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to blackball her soon.

There is a need for it, but I'm sure TPD has no desire for it.
