Is there any other animal other than human that cannot swim naturally?

A discussion came up with my friends after we saw an elephant swim. Is there another animal, other than us, that cannot swim by instinct? We thought maybe monkeys cant swim but I dont know....

    Some monkeys are amazing swimmers like crab eating macaques.


  2. Chimps can't swim but human babies can so it is probably instinctual for humans.  We forget it as we get older and panic in the water.

  4. Many birds can not swim.  Fawn white-tailed deer cant swim until they are about a week old.  Primates are pretty good swimmers.  A few species spend a lot of time in water.  Usually the very young need help, but the instinct is there.
