  1. Based directly off the word Christian, there really isn't anything really interesting besides that as far as I have found.

  2. The term 'Christ' is a word which Egyptians called one another all that word meant was that they were one with the god Sobekh. After they performed a ritual by melting crocodile fat and using the oil of it to anointe on another.

  3. Are there?

That was the name of a killer car in one of Stephen King's novels.

Sorta like the Anti-Herby the Love Bug.

  4. It means kind, sweethearted and sometimes a little tricky.

  5. I checked, Wikipedia, which pretty much confirmed what I thought:

The name Christine is of Greek or Latin origin, it come directly from the word Christ, which is the Greek translation of the Hebrew word "Messiah".

Generally, the name Christine is given in Christ's honnor and in reference to Saint Christine of Tyr, remembered on the 24th of July. However, there are also many other Saint Christines, remembered on the 6th of February, the 13 of March for Christine of Persia, 24 March, 18 May for Christine of Ancyre, and the 6th of November.

Then I went to the Online Etymology Dictionary, which clarified things a little bit and added another layer to the name, at least for me. When I looked up Christ there, it said that it came from the Latin "Christus" which came from the Greek "khristos" which means "the anointed," which is a literal translation of the Hebrew term "messiah." Khristos comes from the Greek word "khriein" which means to rub or anoint.

I didn't see anything anywhere that looked very reliable about Egyptians originating the term, though it wouldn't surprise me if they used it, since a lot of them did speak Greek during the Ptolemaic Dynasty and later under Roman rule.
