  1. http://craigslist.com

That is a good website because you get to meet the person who your buying the item from and if you don't like it then you don't have to buy it.

  2. Try kijiji.com........ millions of people use that site and it's worldwide.

    Also craigslist.com.

  3. craigslist.org

I have used this for multiple purchases and sales.

  4. Sorry, I haven't heard of sell.com but why not try ebid.co.uk. I used this for a while before ebay and it seemed ok.

  5. never heard of it, but you could try craigs list as well

  6. I'm not sure what you're trying to sell, but Etsy.com is a fantastic site for selling hand made goods of all sorts. Best of luck!

  7. AMAZON is another well known buying and selling site.

  8. Don't know about them , but I would go with craigslist or kijiji.com/

  9. checkout kijiji.com

  10. craigslist is good, but i would stick with ebay, since it is synonymous with online bidding. if not, do your research on protection against fraudulent transactions and such with the online selling agent you plan to use. check and see what sources of payments are accepted and what recourse you may take should something go wrong. good luck.

  11. Try craigslist

  12. www.livedeal.com

    www.craigslist.com

  13. There may be many places but you need customers to sell something. Ebay and Craigslist will have the most people looking for stuff. Craigslist is great since there are local pages. You can sell something in only your city and ask for pickup and payment in cash.

  14. Check out :

    http://www.livedeal.com

    http://www.blujay.com

one plus for Blujay is that when you load an item they automaticaly load it to Frooggle (not sure of spelling) which is the Google version of onlne shopping.

  15. craigslist.org

  16. Before you consider another auction site, consider its potential market.  How many members does the new auction site have compared to tens of millions of members at ebay?  You may be saving money on fees or paying no fees at all but any new auction site will have a small fraction of the members that ebay has. You may sell an item for $10 at another auction site with far, fewer members that would likely sell for substantially more at ebay with its much, much greater membership. This is a classic example of “stepping over a dollar to pick up a penny.”  In other words, you paid no or less fees ‘picking up your penny’ but you stepped over a dollar in selling your item for less than it would have sold for on ebay.

These smaller auction sites are great for buyers for the same reason that they are bad for sellers: fewer bidders = less competition = lower closing prices. These bidders/buyers are smart and have been taking advantage of those sellers who have left ebay.

There isn’t another auction site on the web that can hold a candle to ebay and the millions and millions of members it has. Many have tried and many have failed and yet, many are still trying. Ebay has a virtual lock on this business. This is where you want to sell as ebay has the largest potential market.  A basic business tenet is ‘The greater the potential market, the greater the potential to maximize your profits.’ But the final choice is yours.  Don’t be penny wise and pound-foolish.

Some other posts mentioned Craigslist. Keep in mind that Craigslist is basically a classified that limits you to a particular geographic region. This drastically limits your potential market. Ebay reaches tens of millions of people. Craigslist, for the most part, is for larger and heavier items that are cumbersome to ship/mail easily like furniture, dumbbell sets, cars, swing sets, etc.  If you have large/ heavy items use Craigslist. If your items are easily boxed, go the ebay route.
