There are so many different direct selling opportunities out there.  Telecommunications, Pampered Cheif, Candles, Travel, you name it,  it's out there! You just have to find one that interests you the best. I know a blog that will give you quite a few different industries that you can take a look at.  A lot of helpful information on these opportunities with web sites to take a look at and people you can contact for more information on each industry.

You can do Pampered Chef!  It is cooking utinsels and gadgets.  They also sell a great line of cookwear.  Fun partys.

I recommend something consumable or something you can at least get the personal use discount other wise you will always be looking for new customers.

Yes there are a few other great opportunities that pass the test. I was able to retire at a early age due to the success of two homebased businesses I started.
