  1. You can or can't wear a tampon? What my niece did when she had that same problem was use a lil swimmer diaper...cut it of course to fit like a pad, it's super absorbent and wont swell up when it gets wet.

  2. Nope, don't use a pad, it'll leak out this gross wet white stuff. And its a health hazard, i'd say, go for a tampon, or don't go at all.

  3. honestly dont listen to them. you dont need to buck up and accept the fact you HAVE to wear tampons. i dont. i dont feel comfortable inserting things into my v****a myself. i've had s*x yes but i dont feel comfortable putting anything in my v****a that doesnt really need to go there.

i got swimming on my period if i'm really light like on my last two days. and i wear a pad. i have tight bottoms that keep it in place so there's not an issue with it falling out and when i go inside to take the pad off and change its honestly barely soaked. it'll be a little wet on the top but its not like it soaked completely through and i didnt leak blood anywhere either.

honestly i've seen more girls leak in a pool with tampons on then not.

  4. ummm...gross...plz use the tampon...r just don't swim is the right answer...

  5. that's quite nasty

    try the cup

  6. Don't use a pad!!! It would just get waterlogged and probably fall out, and that would be VERY embarrasing. Use a tampon or a menstrual cup, but change it after swimming

  7. you could try a moon cup.

  8. first of all...are u serious?

no you can't use a pad when you go swimming.

    - it will get wet.

    - it's not sanitary for you AND others in the pooo

    - EWWWWWW

  9. I think you said you CAN use a tampon and meant you Can't...

    Don't use the pad...bad idea

Once it gets wet not only do you run the risk of it falling out, but you run the risk of the blood on it thinning out and running everywhere...it's gross.

If you can, wear the pad until you get ready to get in the water...then when you're changing, clean up down there REALLY well, then go swim (provided it's not a public pool or anything). As SOON as you get out of the water, cover up and go change, and put a new pad on.

You can blame it on being chilly or whatever you want, but wearing a pad in water is a bad idea...you're better off not wearing it at all.

  10. moon cup, or tampon. Just accept you cant wear a pad in the pool.

  11. use both. or wear a sarong.

  12. You can't use a pad when you're swimming sweetie. It'll swell up and look like you have a wet pillow between your legs. And besides, your blood leak all over in the water and down your legs when you get out. Either wear a tampon or stay out of the water.
