Is there any overnight parking in Dundee?

Question

I am planning to go to Dundee at the end of August. However, because I'm staying on the High street, I'm gonna need to find some parking. Does anyone know if the carparks that are operated by the council allow overnight parking? I've checked their website, and they don't mention it.

There's an NCP car park just opposite the uni's main gate- and there's loads of free evening and night parking along the road. Just make sure you move your car before the morning (I think it's about 8am they start checking)

The Council web site DOES give parking in the town :

hi hi! i used to live in dundee, now i live in a village outsied it r u scottish?  i am!!!! anyway i dont know about parking??? why in h**l would ya wanna go to dundee it sukks, its a dump like sorry but it is :)
