Is there any paint safe for a bunny hutch?

I have been looking at hutches and one seller has a painted one which I enquired about because I thought there wasn't any paint safe for bunnies incase they chew it. The seller said it is a water based paint so it is fine for bunnies, and that they have sold 35 like that. Is this true? or at least possibly true? Please only answer if you actually know about paints. Thanks :)

i dont think you should buy one with paint just incase its bad for bunnies so buy one with out just in case

Its safe! As long as the paint dont have lead

I give my rabbits baby blocks with paint and I paint the hutch white!
