Is there any place in Florence where I can study Italian art, culture and literature in english?

I am spending one year in Firenze. Of course I'll be studying Italian language but I want to study Italian culture too. Are there any classes, schools or courses that use English? Thank you for your help.

There is a university in the heart of Florence that teaches all its classes (excluding the Italian language class) in English: http://www.lorenzodemedici.org/florence/

They offer a variety of classes, though most tend to be focused on the arts. A sample of some of the classes for the spring include sociology, art history, Italian history, etc. You can contact the school at:

How old are you?  There are plenty of Universities there, but for enrolled students.  If you are in school, check with their international programs.
