Is there any place in London that still serves fish and chips on newspaper?

No - serving fish and chips in newspaper sadly died out several years ago due to the fact that the print rubs off on the food and isn't considered particularly healthy...

Until ten or so years ago some fish and chip shops would serve fish and chips directly wrapped in plain paper but they would wrap that in another layer of newspaper.  Those were the days my friend...

You can still get excellent fish and chips in London though if you shop around - Andy's on Northfield Avenue in Ealing is excellent.
