You have to go to Valle d'Aosta 2hours from Milan...there, you'll find mont-blanc and mont-rose..

go to Torino!!!! they have the best place for ski and snow ever!!!! I am from Modena and in winter wer always go for ski in Torino :) they aslo have ice skating!!!

Rome and snow? You got to be kidding!

Milan...there are the mountains nearby....guess that is your best bet.

The daily low temperatures over the next week or so are above freezing even places like Bolzano. There hasn't been a lot of snow in the mountains yet, and none in Milan much less Rome.

I was hoping it would be cold enough for snow for the start of the Christmas market in Trento last weekend or Bolzano this weekend, but it rained all day in Trento and is supposed to be the same in Bolzano this weekend.

There's supposed to be some snow or mixed rain and snow next week near the Austrian border, but that's not particularly close to Milan.
