Is there any place in ohio that you can get health insurance without a job?

Im 18 and i dont have any health insurance. I need to get some but i dont have anyone to turn to and i dont know where to start. Does anyone know where i can get health insurance or even get started?

Call up your state Assemblyman or State Senator to ask them about programs for unemployed persons.  It will also depend on how much savings you have.  Some programs have a minimum & others have a maximum.

You can purchase a private plan. Many companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield sell them.  They are very expensive.

If you have a full time job- many employers offer health insurance.

And of course, if you join any branch of the military - they have very good health benefit plans.
