  1. yeah, I agree with the answers above. Send them to any elementary schools or even make some art of your own!

  2. you can always reuse them you know like if you have loose cords around you can rubberband the.

  3. Recycling starts with having large volumes of like materials coming in a steady stream.

If these bands were in that kind of volume, we should be asking whether it might be appropriate to switch to a different way of distributing the papers, like use a heavy paper band with recyclable glue so that the whole paper and band can be recycled together.

I download the paper on-line, so I don't recycle any of it.

  4. not that i know of but you could recycle them yourself by making rubberband balls or just handing them out at your work or if you work at home, give them to people when they come over. if you have kids, tell them to bring a bunch to school. they're fun and maybe a teacher would need them.

as for actual places, maybe you should write a letter to a recycling plant or whatever those places are and ask if they recycle rubberbands.

  5. My husband had a paper route when we were kids. Did you know your paper person has to supply these theirself? I would put them in a baggie and give them to him/her next time they come to collect the money for your subscribtion. Or, if you don't pay him/her directly, call them up and tell them you will leave them for them in the mailbox when they deliever next.

  6. Call a elementary school in your area and ask if the art teacher would want them! my kids are always coming home with art papers rolled and secured with a rubber band.
