Is there any place that helps people with their bills?

i had cancer 7 yrs ago and went through major surgery i have had complications for 5 yrs and now got to have surgery again have no insurance and only my income but will be out of work for 2 to 3 months if anyone knows where i could apply for some type of help it would be greatly appreciated i live in georgia

I know my church has a club, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, that does help out parishoners with bills - not just medical, but food, rent, utilities, etc.  

I'd strongly suggest you check with your pastor.  That's the kind of thing churches are supposed to do.

Some churches have programs that help someone that is in need.

I would talk with the companies that you owe and let them know what is going on and they can probably help as long as you can show proof that you are in need.

Depending on where you work, your job could also help or take a collection to help you.
