  1. call any restaurant and ask for any manager's specials, b-day specials, anniversary specials.  Some may laugh at you, but I hear some offer fantastic deals.  You might at least get a free slice of cake.


  2. Definitely.  Go to your favorite restaurant's websites.  Almost all have a mailing list.  Sign up for the list and usually they ask birthday, anniversary dates.  If so, many send you a get a free meal discount for those occasions.
