  1. MKV is just a multimedia container format, like AVI so your question is rather generic as the player would have to support not only the MKV format but also the various codecs that might be found inside.

    You can look for a player on http://mosh.nokia.com but I have not seen any featuring this format. My advice is that you convert the file using for example PC Suite's Video Manager or some professional tool.

    N.B. The correct name of the software platform is "Series 40"
